F – 2 Learning and Teaching Leader

We are currently seeking a committed, experienced teacher to lead learning and teaching in the F – 2 learning community. This role is a full-time, ongoing position, beginning at the start of the 2021 school year.
The F – 2 Learning and Teaching Leader will lead and support learning in English, Mathematics and Inquiry.
This position is an important leadership role within the school. The successful candidate will lead and support the F – 2 team in planning, implementing and evaluating the learning program. It would be advantageous for the successful candidate to have experience in coaching and mentoring of graduate, early career and experienced teachers and learning support officers.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of developmental curriculum and be able to support teachers in developing and refining their skills and knowledge in this area.
The F – 2 Learning and Teaching Leader is part of the team which sets the strategic direction for the school and works closely with staff in leadership roles including learning diversity and allied health professionals.
The successful candidate will need to have a passion for working within a culturally and linguistically diverse community.
