At St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Primary School, our values guide the way we live, learn, and grow together as a faith community.

Our School Values

At St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Primary School, our values are inspired by the Mercy Sisters, who founded our school in the 1950s. These values honour our history and continue to shape the identity, culture, and story of our community.

Our four core values are:

  • Respect
  • Compassion
  • Justice
  • Service

Each term we celebrate a Values Day, where students engage in meaningful activities and experiences that bring these values to life. These special days invite our students to explore what it means to live with respect, compassion, justice, and service in their everyday lives.

Values Days conclude with a whole-school reflection, where students share their learning and celebrate how our Catholic faith guides us in action. These gatherings strengthen our sense of community and highlight the unique Mercy charism that continues to inspire our school mission today.
