Our Community
Parent Partnerships
Parents are welcomed as partners in learning. Opportunities to be involved include:
- Joining our Parents and Friends Committee, working together to support school initiatives and community spirit
- Volunteering at school events such as the Athletics Carnival, Book Week celebrations, or fundraising activities
- Attending Parent Information Sessions to strengthen home–school connections and support children’s learning
- Participating in Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Reflections, celebrating family and faith
- Contributing expertise or resources to Inquiry units, guest speaking, or helping with special projects
These opportunities help families connect with one another, share their gifts, and contribute meaningfully to the life of the school. Together, we foster a strong partnership that enhances student learning and wellbeing.

Community Connections
Our school also nurtures links with the broader community. Families and friends are invited to:
- Join our Playlinks Playgroup, supporting children and parents before school begins
- Take part in Values Day activities, which highlight our Catholic identity and school values
- Support Special Lunch days, which bring our community together in fun and memorable ways
These experiences strengthen belonging and build a culture where students see learning, faith, and community working hand in hand.
Together We Thrive
When families and community are actively involved, children feel a stronger sense of connection and pride in their school. At St Thomas Aquinas, community is not something extra — it is central to who we are, shaping a safe and inclusive environment where every child is known, valued, and supported to flourish.
